The e-book book version of CVA is a train wreck. The information is all here, but if you have any inclination to access it in a simple or timely fashion, you’re out of luck. Which is sad, because that’s pretty much all I’m looking for from a book like this. You can’t search by table of contents because it’s essentially non-existent (see attached photo.) The search function is slightly better, but the volume of info is too much to readily get you to the chapter you’re looking for. And there is no other way to sort through any of it. It’s pretty clear that the party responsible for making this into an ebook was either new at this or just too busy to to put in anything more than the absolute minimum effort. Which now that I think about it, isn’t true because a version of this that’s just high quality scans of the actual hard copy would have been infinitely more useful. Glad this came out of my CE allotment, rather than my pocket, because otherwise I’d say I feel robbed.Edit: Amazon was kind enough to let me return the kindle version. I ordered the hard copy instead and *SURPRISE* it comes with its own code for an ebook through the Inkling app which is MUCH higher quality.
